Reznor Announcement – February 2021

To all our colleagues, customers, business and industry partners,
 
During 2020 the HVAC industry, manufacturers, installers and end users alike have battled through multiple lockdowns, uncertainty over Brexit and dare we say, home-schooling. 
 
We at Reznor have maintained advising, manufacturing and supplying products into the industry throughout this period. During this time, our Research and Development team have been working tirelessly to deliver three new products to be released in 2021. We have also been busy supporting emergency projects, from heating ambulance buildings to supplying HVAC systems to NHS PPE Warehouses, plus multiple projects in other sectors. Additionally, we have continued to be active partners in the UK Hydrogen projects, looking towards a more sustainable future.
 
Reznor took the early decision to go against a planned annual price increase which was due to be implemented in the summer of 2020. This meant our customers could continue to enjoy September 2019 pricing throughout the year 2020.
 
As we have now entered 2021, the country needs to again navigate increased measures to protect us all. We at Reznor will continue to support the industry and our customers by freezing our prices for a further 6 months. With component prices increasing over the last 15 months since our previous price increase, we realise that we cannot hold these prices indefinitely.  We recognise that all businesses need to plan ahead and are assessing the feasibility and/or tendering for projects for the second half of 2021 and beyond. 
 
To assist with this planning, we would like to provide forward notice of our first price increase in 21 months, effective from 1st July 2021. Our products will then receive a 5% increase. This does still offer the industry the chance to continue enjoying our 2019 prices on all orders placed in the first 2 quarters of 2021.
